Step 1
: Bring 400ml of water to a boil. As you wait, grind 18g of fresh coffee.

Step 2: Once water is boiling, pour some water in the French Press to preheat it, then transfer the hot water to your mug to preheat it as well and set aside.

Step 3: Place French Press on scale, tare scale to 0.

Step 4: Put 18g of coffee in the French Press, tare scale.

Step 5: Pour 300 ml of water in the French press, give it a swirl to make sure all grinds are wet. Start your timer. Wait 4 minutes

Step 6: When timer reads 4 minutes, use a spoon to break the crust of coffee floating on top of the water, grinds will sink down. Place plunger lid on.

Step 7: Give it another minute.

Step 8: When timer reads 5 minutes, press down half way through the water and serve.

You can play around with grind size, coffee:water ratio and brewing time to match your taste. Brew it how you like it.
